What you will do

  • Launch a new production facility for high-volume manufacturing and expanded technical capabilities while maintaining continuity for existing product lines.
  • Manage the business P&L, budgets, financial plans, capacity planning, KPIs, and operational performance metrics.
  • Lead Operations, Engineering, Technical Development, Quality, Finance, and Human Resources teams.
  • Develop production systems and workflows that achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Support commercial strategies, customer engagements, government relations, and business development.
  • Use Lean principles, continuous improvement, and effective communication to build accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • Over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or related sectors.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, systems, supply chains, regulatory environments, complex technology projects, and business development.
  • Previous P&L responsibility and experience developing and managing budgets and financial plans.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, navigate ambiguity, and travel as needed.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree such as an MBA or MS in Engineering.
  • Experience with advanced manufacturing, composites, aerospace, or defense technology.
  • Experience with facility expansion, large-scale capital projects, and front-end engineering requirements for production.
