What you will do

• Translate project requirements into computer models, layouts, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure products are functional and cost-effective.
• Develop and verify detailed drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure design integrity through correct proportionality, sizing, and application of GD&T practices.
• Specify materials and processing procedures that align with design requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
• 0-3 years of professional experience.
• Working knowledge of engineering and design principles.
• Proficiency with mechanical CAD (MCAD) tools.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Buffalo, NY.

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens NX MCAD and Teamcenter PLM.
• Familiarity with analytical tools such as Matlab/Simulink and ANSYS for stress analysis.
