Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Decatur, IL or Mossville, IL (Onsite 5 days a week)

Salary: $89,210 - $133,810

What you will do

• Lead mechanical design and integration of electrical systems for complex vehicle platforms.
• Develop components, brackets, harness routing paths, and enclosures ensuring electrical performance and mechanical durability.
• Own project cost, quality, validation, and schedule from concept to production.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure assembly feasibility and installation repeatability.
• Partner with suppliers to optimize lifecycle efficiency and serviceability.
• Execute prototype builds, testing, and analysis including fit, form, and function assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week in Decatur or Mossville, IL.
• Visa sponsorship is not offered.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle systems integration, routing, and structural interfaces.
• Proficiency with Creo, Vis View, and Teamcenter.
• Proven ability to lead engineering projects in a cross-functional environment.
