TL;DR
Solution Architect (Cloud/Microservices): Designing scalable, reliable, and secure distributed systems and integrations across multiple services, platforms, and external systems with an accent on cloud solutions, APIs, and non-functional requirements. Focus on defining architecture roadmaps, validating approaches through proofs of concept, managing technical risks, and guiding delivery teams.
Location: Must be located in the UK, Poland, Croatia, or Ukraine

What you will do
- Own end-to-end solution architecture aligned with business goals, technical constraints, and quality attributes.
- Elicit and analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design scalable, reliable, and secure distributed systems, microservices, cloud solutions, and integrations.
- Maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, decision records, and technical standards, and lead architectural governance.
- Define implementation roadmaps, technical backlogs, estimates, and solution scopes while supporting pre-sales activities.
- Guide development teams, manage technical risks and debt, create proofs of concept, and mentor technical specialists.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a Solution Architect or similar role.
- Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices, cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, APIs, and enterprise application architecture.
- Experience with requirements elicitation, system integration patterns, architecture modeling and documentation tools, including C4, UML, and ADRs.
- Knowledge of non-functional requirements, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, modern deployment models, software development lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with technology evaluation, estimation, solution scoping, technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management.
- Upper-intermediate High or higher English level required.
