Enterprise Architect (AI/Cloud)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the customer's West London office

What you will do

• Lead enterprise architecture strategy and governance for a leading aviation operator.
• Design and oversee scalable cloud solutions on AWS with infrastructure and development teams.
• Drive adoption of AI and emerging technologies by translating technical concepts into business strategies.
• Advise business and technical stakeholders on trade-offs, risks, opportunities, and technology roadmaps.
• Assess current systems, identify modernisation opportunities, and create phased migration plans.
• Develop cyber-resilient, security-first architecture patterns across the technology landscape.

Requirements

• 8+ years of enterprise architecture experience with large-scale, mission-critical systems.
• AWS Certified qualification at Solutions Architect Professional level or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and cyber-aware architecture design.
• Customer-facing technical leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, data platforms, and modern technology stacks.

Nice to have

• Experience in aviation or transportation.
• Experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with containerisation, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Interest in AI and emerging technologies.
