Commissioning Engineer (Data Centre)

Nscale is developing sovereign generative AI infrastructure through high-performance, sustainable data centres and GPU platforms.

What you will do

• Support and execute commissioning activities through testing, verification, and handover.
• Develop and manage project-specific commissioning plans, schedules, and test procedures.
• Coordinate commissioning across mechanical, electrical, controls, and life-safety systems.
• Oversee FAT, SAT, and IST testing, system documentation, reports, punch lists, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, operations teams, and project stakeholders during energisation and integration testing.
• Identify technical issues affecting functionality, reliability, or safety and support continuous improvement of commissioning standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 7 years of relevant commissioning experience in data centres.
• Strong commissioning and MEP engineering experience in data centres, mission-critical environments, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience with integrated commissioning of critical power and cooling systems, including FAT, SAT, and IST testing.
• Solid understanding of commissioning processes, documentation, and regulatory compliance, with strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English and the ability to be located in Gumi, South Korea; additional APAC languages are advantageous.

• Experience managing commissioning from CxL0 to CxL6.
• Additional APAC language skills.
