What you will do
- Lead and contribute to user research to uncover needs, behaviors, pain points, and opportunity areas for AI-powered employee experiences.
- Design how AI assistants behave in real interactions, including multi-turn flows, clarification strategies, recovery from mistakes, uncertainty handling, and escalation to humans.
- Define conversational experience strategies and frameworks (scripts, prompts, conversation models, and experience principles) across multiple use cases.
- Shape AI experience strategy by translating AI capabilities, constraints, risks, and trade-offs into user-centered guidance.
- Operate effectively in ambiguous, emerging problem spaces and turn research insights into actionable recommendations for product, engineering, AI, and design partners.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of best practices for designing, researching, and evaluating AI-powered experiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in UX design, conversation design, service design, user research, content design, or customer experience.
- Demonstrated experience conducting or leading user research and synthesizing findings into design direction.
- Experience defining conversational or AI-driven experiences, including multi-turn interactions, clarification paths, recovery strategies, and escalation models.
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous problems into research questions, design hypotheses, experience principles, and recommendations.
- Ability to create experience and research artefacts such as research plans, interview guides, synthesis maps, journey maps, service blueprints, conversation flows, scripts, prototypes, and storyboards.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong UX thinking, research-informed decision making, and conversational/service design capability.
