What you will do

• Partner with design teams to identify new designs with process interactions and quantify them to improve time to learning and learning quality.
• Work with Test Development and R&D Operations teams to develop, qualify, and deploy test applications and test tools (hardware/software).
• Drive code development for new test development, debugging, and modification to support key technology and new design evaluations.
• Act as project owner/leader when assigned and allocate work within the team.
• Collaborate in cross-functional engineering teams and apply independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria.
• Manage test evaluation requests and provide first-level data analysis (JMP), including deep drive failure analysis.

Requirements

• PhD in Physics or Electrical Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Programming experience with languages such as Python and C.
• Experience with automated data collection and processing using tools such as SQL and JMP, plus analysis of large datasets.
• Fluent English communication (spoken and written).
• Ability to plan, control, and take responsibility for design evaluation results.
• Experience working with teams and leadership, including coaching/mentoring and effective communication of complex technical material.
