What you will do

• Design and build automated data verification solutions to validate business logic and data transformations.
• Reconcile platform outputs against legacy systems and investigate root causes of discrepancies.
• Review and debug transformation logic using dbt models and implement effective validation tests.
• Own and enhance the Python automation framework and integrate automated checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform cross-system comparisons for millions of records to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Validate complex business logic and event-driven systems, including Kafka validation.

Requirements

• Strong scripting experience in Python for building automated data checks.
• Expert SQL skills for complex joins, aggregations, and reconciliation queries.
• Hands-on experience with dbt for reviewing and validating transformation logic.
• Experience testing end-to-end data pipelines and event-driven systems (Kafka).
• Proficiency with AWS services such as S3, RDS, IAM, and ECS.
• Experience working with modern data platforms like Snowflake or Airflow.
