What you will do

• Support customer qualification readiness and execution across pilot and sustaining phases.
• Lead and author customer corrective action responses (8D) by coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Build and maintain analytics pipelines for quality signals to identify trends and risks.
• Create automation tools using Python and SQL to reduce manual effort in reporting and log parsing.
• Apply statistical reasoning to support reliability narratives and failure analysis conclusions.
• Use Generative AI to accelerate quality work products while ensuring data governance and IP protection.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Data, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Academic projects or coursework demonstrating data analysis, programming (Python), and applied statistics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing technical situations.
• Ability to work onsite in Shakopee, MN or Longmont, CO.
• Data-first mindset with experience handling high-volume datasets.
• Understanding of structured problem-solving methodologies like 8D.

Nice to have

• Exposure to storage technologies (HDD concepts) and reliability engineering.
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DOE), hypothesis testing, or time-series analysis.
• Interest in predictive quality and anomaly detection.
