What you will do
- Lead employee relations, union engagement, and industrial relations at the plant site.
- Manage HR operations, HR service delivery, policies, and processes to support workforce productivity and business continuity.
- Partner with plant leadership and the Country HRBP on organizational effectiveness, workforce capability, and employee engagement.
- Act as the company-wide subject matter expert for Industrial Relations and Employee Relations, including implementation of the Collective Labor Agreement.
- Manage government, regulatory, and community relationships to support permits, compliance, social acceptance, and sustainable community initiatives.
- Oversee General Affairs, facility management, security, logistics, vendors, and workplace services at the plant.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Employee Relations or Industrial Relations, HR Operations, and HR Business Partner roles in manufacturing or plant environments.
- At least 5 years of experience in community relations, government relations, General Affairs, CSR, or facilities management in industrial or plant operations.
- Experience leading Collective Labor Agreements and union negotiations is essential.
- Strong knowledge of industrial relations, labor laws, union practices, dispute resolution, HR processes, local regulations, culture, and community dynamics.
- Advanced English communication proficiency is required. Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and pressure-management skills are expected.
Nice to have
- Understanding of ISO systems or an ISO certification.
