What you will do

• Partner with PM and engineering to define problems, validate solutions, and ship work that drives measurable outcomes.
• Manage the end-to-end data view, from platform entry and monitoring to how data surfaces in customer-facing experiences.
• Utilize AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code to accelerate exploration and build functional prototypes.
• Run rigorous design reviews to ensure high interaction quality and system coherence.
• Develop a unified design vision for the DGX organization through frameworks and artifacts.
• Lead and mentor other individual contributors to raise the overall quality bar of the design practice.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a product designer on complex systems, preferably in B2B, fintech, or data-heavy environments.
• Experience designing for both customer-facing products and internal/developer-facing tools.
• Proven track record of end-to-end ownership from problem definition through to shipping.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted prototyping (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code).
• Strong systems thinking skills and the ability to communicate a point of view effectively in writing.
• Must be based in Mountain View, California
