Salary: $180,000 - $200,000

What you will do

• Own and improve the community experience for TruffleHog across GitHub, Slack, and Discord.
• Create technical content including blogs, demos, tutorials, and webinars to drive tool adoption.
• Lead recurring community touchpoints like office hours and technical sessions.
• Partner with research and engineering to package technical findings into practitioner-facing education.
• Develop repeatable launch plans for research releases, product updates, and major announcements.
• Represent the company at conferences, meetups, and podcasts to establish technical credibility.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of modern software development workflows, CI/CD, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with secrets management, vulnerability management, or secure software development.
• Ability to read, write, and explain code (Go, Python, Bash, Docker, or GitHub Actions experience is a plus).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.

Nice to have

• Experience building or scaling a DevRel or open-source community program.
• Active contributor to open-source communities.
• Experience speaking at conferences, meetups, or podcasts.
• Familiarity with AppSec, DevSecOps, or cloud security workflows.
