TL;DR
Digital Systems Engineer II (ERP/AI): Configuring and maintaining Odoo 17 ERP and ION MES platforms for manufacturing operations with an accent on system optimization and AI integration. Focus on driving the adoption of AI tools like Claude and Copilot, developing prompt libraries, and improving shop floor data flow.
Location: Alameda, CA. Must be a documented U.S. Person (ITAR compliance).
Salary: $92,248-120,000

What you will do
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Odoo 17 and ION MES for day-to-day operations and data integrity.
- Implement process improvements through structured process mapping and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Shop Floor teams to optimize ERP/MES utilization.
- Build and maintain SOPs to standardize workflows and reinforce quality control.
- Design and maintain custom reports and dashboards for production efficiency and quality KPIs.
- Champion the adoption of AI platforms (Claude, Copilot) by developing internal guides and prompt libraries.
Requirements
- BS in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on ERP and/or MES experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo 17 configuration and reporting.
- Working knowledge of AI productivity platforms such as Claude or Microsoft Copilot.
- Must be a documented U.S. Person to comply with ITAR and EAR regulations.
Nice to have
- Experience with ION MES or similar shop floor systems.
- SQL proficiency for custom queries and reporting.
- Experience building AI workflow documentation or prompt libraries.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods.
