Data & Analytics Fellowship Program

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States; 4 days onsite

Compensation: $100,000–$130,000 annually, based on experience

hirify.global is recruiting for a client offering a rotational data and analytics fellowship for recently separated military veterans.

What you will do

• Support data governance initiatives focused on data quality, integrity, compliance, and risk management.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data integration processes.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable and scalable data solutions.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions using modern analytics tools.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and operational improvement opportunities.
• Rotate across data governance, data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, and reporting assignments while collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, information systems, mathematics, statistics, engineering, business analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Recently separated military veteran with an honorable discharge.
• At least 4 years of military experience supporting data analytics, information management, data engineering, intelligence analysis, reporting and business intelligence, or software development for data solutions.
• Experience with data reporting, analytics, or database technologies and an understanding of data management principles.
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, Business Objects, Snowflake, Hadoop, NoSQL databases, or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, Agile, and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of SQL development experience.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, executive dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, data governance, data quality, and data security frameworks.
• Experience using Python or R for data analysis and automation.
