Data Analyst Lead (Energy)

Location: Hybrid in Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $65,000–$95,000 annually, with potential eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Create and maintain reports and dashboards, identify enhancements, and promote adoption across the team.
• Analyze program data to evaluate market potential and develop recommendations.
• Perform data quality checks and database queries in Redshift to maintain accurate and consistent tracking systems.
• Gather and prioritize user requirements, and perform or manage user acceptance and regression testing.
• Write user manuals, train users, and provide technical support for reporting tools.
• Manage projects and client communication while influencing stakeholders and aligning on acceptable solutions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a data analyst or data scientist.
• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline such as engineering, mathematics, statistics, finance, or computer programming is strongly preferred.
• Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Strong knowledge of databases and analysis tools including PostgreSQL and Excel, with demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience creating, interpreting, and maintaining complex SQL queries in Redshift or Tableau.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts concisely.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python or Node.js.
• Interest in sustainability and environmental impact.
• Experience managing multiple deliverables in a fast-paced and flexible environment.
