TL;DR

Compliance Operations Lead (Third-Party Due Diligence): Managing and optimizing third-party risk assessment programs with an accent on sanctions, export control, and anti-corruption compliance. Focus on conducting complex due diligence, developing operational workflows, and leveraging AI-enabled tools to ensure regulatory adherence in a mission-critical environment.

Location: Must be based in Westminster, CO (Onsite role). Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee).

Salary: $97,000 – $141,900 annually.

What you will do

  • Lead day-to-day operations for third-party due diligence, including risk-based reviews of customers, suppliers, and business intermediaries.
  • Conduct sanctions, restricted-party, and adverse media screening while documenting findings and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze public records, ownership information, and business justifications to assess anti-corruption and export control risks.
  • Develop and improve due diligence workflows, playbooks, and escalation protocols to promote consistency and audit readiness.
  • Review inbound visitor access and outbound travel requests to identify potential sanctions or country-risk concerns.
  • Create compliance dashboards and metrics to track risk trends and program effectiveness using AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in third-party due diligence, sanctions/export-control compliance, or related operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate compliance risk, investigate red flags, and prepare clear written risk assessments.
  • Experience with screening, case-management, or ERP tools such as SAP/SAP GTS.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance business needs and regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, technology, or other complex global compliance environments.
  • Experience building compliance dashboards, SOPs, or training resources.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or NavEx platforms.
