Salary: $180,000 - $225,000 USD

What you will do

  • Serve as the designated compliance officer owning BSA/AML/OFAC policies and program documentation.
  • Monitor federal and state regulatory developments and implement controls to mitigate emerging risks.
  • Design and build a scalable Enterprise Risk and Compliance program from the ground up.
  • Develop banking-as-a-service compliance programs, including customer onboarding and financial transaction reporting.
  • Manage relationships with bank partners and oversee due diligence and cannabis-specific program reviews.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing compliance team and deliver internal training.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of compliance experience, with at least 3 years in a BSA/AML leadership role.
  • Proven track record at a fintech, payments company, neobank, or tech-forward business.
  • Demonstrated experience in banking or financial services for high-risk businesses.
  • Minimum of 4 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Must be based in the USA (indicated by 401k and US-specific benefits).
  • Excellence in communication, influence, and cross-functional leadership.
