What you will do
- Manage end-to-end compliance projects: scoping, stakeholder alignment, launch, and post-implementation monitoring.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Legal, Product, and external vendors to meet technical and regulatory requirements simultaneously.
- Maintain a live project tracker (status, risks, owners, deadlines) and flag scope changes, delays, and blockers early.
- Audit workflows to identify bottlenecks (e.g., holds exceeding SLA) and recommend process changes.
- Partner with Product to automate repetitive compliance tasks and design human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Translate compliance roadmap goals into an execution plan, run roadmap reviews, and provide concise status updates.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Compliance, Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, or a regulatory-related environment, including 2+ years in a leadership-level role.
- Experience delivering compliance work in a high-speed, 100% remote environment where fraud typologies evolve daily.
- Demonstrated ability to develop Team Leads (people development, not only task management).
- Strong fintech compliance expertise: AML/KYC and document verification in a high-volume environment.
- Technical literacy: SQL proficiency (Excel/Google Sheets required), plus required experience with IDV tools (Persona) and support platforms.
- English: Upper-Intermediate to Advanced (written and verbal).
