What you will do

• Create and refine standardized UI components with high quality, performance, accessibility, and design fidelity.
• Run code reviews and implementation reviews to ensure pixel-perfect execution and consistent design fit.
• Publish, document, and maintain components in a centralized design system library for scalable adoption.
• Integrate design system components into existing products transitioning to shared UI infrastructure.
• Consult and mentor other engineering teams on best practices for using and extending the design system.
• Build live prototypes and proofs of concept to validate new UI patterns, workflows, and paradigms.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in front-end or UI engineering.
• Proven experience working on enterprise-scale or complex professional software.
• Prior contributions to a frontend design system at scale, including integrating UI components into a complex ecosystem.
• Strong proficiency in React and JavaScript with modern front-end tooling.
• Expert use of Figma, including interpreting design to code and collaborating on component architecture and responsive principles.
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and UI performance optimization.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or fintech.
• Familiarity with Storybook or similar environments.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT).
