What you will do

• Oversee cell therapy production to ensure safe and compliant manufacturing operations according to cGMP requirements.
• Manage the hiring, development, and performance of staff and assign personnel to daily production schedules.
• Create and revise operational procedures, including manufacturing work instructions, master batch records, and forms.
• Oversee multiple work centers to ensure high-quality product supply and track production metrics.
• Lead manufacturing investigations, manage change controls, and maintain permanent inspection readiness for regulatory audits.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to drive continuous improvements and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of operations experience within a cGMP environment in the biotech/biopharma industry.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Must be based in Raritan, NJ (Onsite).
• Ability to accommodate shift work (evenings/weekends) and unplanned overtime.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cell/Gene Therapy.
• Experience with Operational Excellence and/or Lean Manufacturing.
