Logistics Associate (Supply Management): Perform highly skilled in-country logistics work for the Ebola emergency response, managing complex warehousing and distribution cases with operational independence. Focus on timely and reliable movement, storage and last-mile delivery of programme supplies, with an accent on emergency preparedness, inventory management, and coordination/reporting in insecure and hard-to-reach areas.
Location: Kinshasa (duty station), with assignments in Bunia, Beni, and Butembo, Democratic Republic of the Congo

What you will do
- Manage in-country logistics for the Ebola emergency response, including time-critical IPC commodities.
- Handle warehousing and inventory management, ensuring reliable storage and distribution.
- Support emergency preparedness and adapt logistics procedures to complex situations.
- Coordinate with partners and counterparts and provide reporting to support delivery mechanisms.
- Supervise lower-level GS staff, if required.
Requirements
- Education: completion of secondary education; logistics/supply chain-related professional or university courses are highly desirable.
- Work experience: minimum 6 years of relevant administrative experience in logistics, warehousing, transport, or supply chain management.
- Ability to apply (or comparable) logistics and supply rules, procedures, and good practices to complex cases.
- Experience using an ERP system (VISION/SAP supply and logistics modules) and MS Office tools.
- French: fluency required.
- English: intermediate level or above acceptable.
Nice to have
- Experience in humanitarian, emergency, or public-health-emergency settings.
- Experience supporting an active outbreak/emergency response (e.g., Ebola, cholera, measles, mpox, displacement, L2/L3 emergency), preferably in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or similar fragile/conflict-affected environments.
- Experience working with and/or through government authorities, UN agencies, clusters/coordination mechanisms, and implementing partners in insecure or hard-to-reach areas.
