What you will do

• Define system scope and objectives to design, develop, modify, or integrate complex information systems.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document integration services, programs, and scripts.
• Develop and implement system test plans, including data verification methods and standard procedures.
• Respond to system failures and performance events to reduce downtime and prevent recurrence.
• Design and manage APIs and integration solutions to ensure interoperability, security, and performance.
• Act as an expert technical resource across development and implementation phases.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA (role is fully remote; final round of interviews onsite in Chattanooga, TN).
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer science-related field or equivalent experience (4 years in a corporate environment).
• 5 years of systems and programming experience.
• 1 year of experience with information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology, and standards.
• 1 year of expert working knowledge of at least one programming language used at BCBST.
• Proven integration experience with strong API design, development, and management skills; leadership and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
