Salary: $53,820 per year

What you will do

• Manage an assigned caseload of clients facing multiple barriers to employment.
• Conduct assessments to document client strengths, needs, and abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized Employment Action Plans.
• Provide pre-employment assistance, including vocational advice and job search training.
• Coordinate with employers to resolve issues and arrange necessary workplace accommodations.
• Maintain relationships with community stakeholders to facilitate client referrals.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field such as social work, psychology, human services, or human resources.
• Demonstrated experience working with individuals with complex barriers and diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Strong documentation and report writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Must be able to work in-office in Brampton, ON.
• Employment is conditional on obtaining a criminal record check.

Nice to have

• Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) certification.
• Knowledge of the local labour market and government programs.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, or Arabic).
• Experience with professional resume writing and vocational counselling.
