What you will do

  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of the current UKG Ready implementation and document a priority optimization roadmap.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for system configuration, workflow builds, and ongoing module optimization.
  • Design and implement automated workflows to reduce manual data entry and improve data accuracy across the employee lifecycle.
  • Manage technical connectivity and integrations between UKG Ready and downstream systems like payroll, benefits, and finance.
  • Build and maintain HR dashboards and reporting to support headcount, compensation, and compliance needs.
  • Document all configuration decisions and provide knowledge transfer to ensure long-term operational continuity.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on UKG Ready ownership, including system administration, workflow configuration, and integration management.
  • Demonstrated experience assessing and optimizing underperforming or under-configured UKG Ready instances.
  • Strong data integrity mindset with experience auditing HR data and implementing quality controls.
  • Proven ability to explain complex system configurations to non-technical stakeholders and provide effective training.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US and capable of managing US-specific compliance requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience conducting formal HRIS platform evaluations or supporting HRIS migrations.
  • Familiarity with multi-state US compliance requirements (I-9, EEO-1, state-specific leave laws).
  • Experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment.
