What you will do

• Organize and execute in-person and virtual employee and intern events.
• Support the execution of the campus recruitment program and deliver quality programming for interns.
• Perform administrative tasks, data audits, and clean-up activities using Workday.
• Respond to employee inquiries and monitor the shared HR inbox according to SLAs.
• Conduct background check verifications as part of the talent acquisition process.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment in communications and documentation.

Requirements

• Currently studying Human Resources, Business, Administration, or Psychology.
• Must be based in Toronto to support the hybrid work model.
• Strong verbal, written, and analytical communication skills.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive tasks and conversations with strict confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Must be able to complete extensive Canadian pre-employment background checks.

Nice to have

• Previous experience or knowledge of Workday or a similar HRIS.
• Experience in event planning.
• Technologically savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
