What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 FTEs within the Strategy & Operations function.
• Partner directly with the COO to diagnose and solve high-stakes operating and strategic problems.
• Build models and executive-ready recommendations to drive major business decisions.
• Identify and resolve operating constraints across Member Services, Network Management, and Routing.
• Translate operational pain points into actionable requirements for the Product and Engineering roadmap.
• Improve client economics by optimizing ride assignment logic, provider allocation, and benefit utilization.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of total experience in strategy, operations, or consulting.
• Strong consulting foundation, with MBB (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) experience strongly preferred.
• Proven track record leading Strategy & Operations or BizOps functions at a high-growth, VC-backed startup.
• Demonstrated ability to use data, with non-negotiable Excel proficiency.
• Experience managing and developing high-performing teams through influence rather than micromanagement.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels, from frontline operators to C-suite executives.

Nice to have

• MBA from a top program.
• Experience scaling a team or function through a significant growth phase.
• Familiarity with healthcare, logistics, transportation, or regulated operating environments.
• Advanced data skills (SQL, Python, R).
