Quality Engineer, Mobile (iOS/Android)

Location: Toronto, Canada; in-person attendance required at least 3 days per week

Base pay range: $80,750–$95,000 CAD per year, plus bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own quality for new features through test planning, execution, and feedback across the development cycle.
• Define and implement test strategies for P0 product launches, including frontend and backend validation.
• Perform manual, automated, functional, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Automate mobile and web end-to-end test cases.
• Build test coverage that accurately reflects the customer experience and partner with contractor teams on regression cycles.

Requirements

• Experience testing iOS, Android, and web applications in fast-paced product environments.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, test case development, and test execution.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Comfort with scripting languages such as Python or Java and test infrastructure tools.
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or similar bug-tracking and test-case management tools.
• Excellent communication skills, user empathy, and attention to detail.
