Quality Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements to identify quality risks and define test coverage.
• Design, maintain, and execute reusable test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, API, database, and web-layer testing.
• Participate in Shift-Left requirement and design reviews to prevent defects before development.
• Validate APIs, integrations, and business rules using tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
• Manage defects, contribute to CI/CD quality gates, and prepare test documentation and quality dashboards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering.
• Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, defect lifecycle, and quality engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with manual, automated, API, and SQL-based testing.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar test management and collaboration tools.
• Ability to work in Waterfall and Agile/Scrum environments, communicate findings clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of Shift-Left testing, test data management, and AI-assisted test generation.
