Salary: $16.36 - $22.09 per hour (approx. $34,000 - $46,000 annually)

What you will do

  • Verify client eligibility and document insurance information prior to billing.
  • Submit monthly charges and EDI claims to ensure timely processing.
  • Investigate and resolve claim rejections and denials using payer portals and clearinghouses.
  • Manage accounts receivable follow-up and resolve outstanding balances.
  • Collaborate with payer billing departments to maximize reimbursement.
  • Maintain KPI and quality goals while working through assigned inventory.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in portal, invoice, and EDI billing methods.
  • Strong knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding and authorization criteria.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
