What you will do

• Lead daily operations for denial management, appeals, and reimbursement recovery workflows.
• Analyze denial trends and payer behaviors to identify systemic issues and implement prevention strategies.
• Drive recovery of underpayments, denied claims, and aged receivables to optimize AR performance.
• Establish standardized appeal templates and documentation requirements to strengthen appeal defensibility.
• Lead, coach, and develop denial and appeals staff while monitoring productivity and quality KPIs.
• Ensure strict adherence to payer guidelines, CMS regulations, and internal compliance standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive healthcare RCM experience, specifically in denials, appeals, and reimbursement recovery.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing denial or AR follow-up teams.
• Strong expertise in payer appeals processes, denial codes, and reimbursement methodologies.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in diagnostic laboratory, genetics, molecular diagnostics, or precision medicine.
• Familiarity with RCM platforms such as Xifin, Quadax, or Telcor.
