What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end diagnostic claim processing to ensure accuracy and payer readiness.
• Lead dual-path billing infrastructure supporting both insurance claims and institutional client invoicing.
• Supervise cash application processes across ERA, EFT, lockbox, and patient payments.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for clearinghouse edits, system errors, and claim rejects.
• Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, CMS/OIG guidance, and state/federal laboratory billing regulations.
• Develop and monitor operational KPIs including Clean Claim Rate (CCR) and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive healthcare RCM experience, specifically in billing and cash posting.
• 2–3+ years of leadership experience managing billing or revenue cycle teams.
• Proficiency with RCM systems (Xifin, Telcor, Quadax, or similar) and EDI transactions (837, 835).
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in diagnostic laboratory, genetics, or molecular diagnostics.
• Strong familiarity with payer medical policies and reimbursement methodologies.
