What you will do

• Lead and delegate installation tasks to install crews, subcontractors, and union trades; may lead teams on large projects.
• Interpret drawing packages and functional design drawings (including cable riser diagrams) to build finished AV systems.
• Install and mount AV equipment (displays, projectors, loudspeakers, microphones, equipment racks, and related components) across varied locations.
• Perform cabling terminations and verify terminations to standards; prepare and wire custom panels from engineering drawings.
• Handle advanced fiber optic cable installation, termination, repair, and testing; generate cable labels and manage wire listing activities.
• Oversee field operations for QC compliance, maintain organized work environments, and track tools/vehicles/material inventories; provide daily feedback and timesheet records.

Requirements

• AVIXA CTS Certification is required.
• Washington E06 Low Voltage Electrician license is required.
• OSHA 30 Certificate is required.
• Five or more years of experience as an installation technician or in a related industry.
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical concepts; advanced carpentry/installation skills; safe and proficient use of power tools.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems; valid driver’s license required and adherence to insurance requirements.
