What you will do

• Lead safety program excellence: run daily safety audits, perform incident investigations, and conduct risk assessments to prevent injuries.
• Implement safety solutions and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety while supporting operational efficiency.
• Deliver engaging safety training to associates to build a proactive safety culture.
• Serve as a safety advisor and advocate for associate wellbeing through communication, coaching, and positive reinforcement.
• Analyze and communicate safety data to influence behavior change and engagement in safety initiatives.
• Support emergency response and maintain effective care delivery during site emergencies.

Requirements

• 1+ year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field, or a Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-relevant background, or 6 months of safety-related experience within Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Professional experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.
• Must be available for flexible shifts including days, nights and/or weekends.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or ability to obtain within 3 weeks of start date.
