EHS Manager

TL;DR

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the EHS management system and related program elements.
• Oversee accident investigation, audit performance, and CAPA tracking with associated metrics.
• Host onsite audits/evaluations to identify hazards from chemicals, biological substances, physical agents, and other environmental risks.
• Lead process and equipment improvements to minimize hazardous potential; serve as Safety SME for regulatory agencies and client audits.
• Manage environmental compliance deliverables, permits, and reports (including EPA Title V air, water, and waste) and maintain required documentation.
• Own hazardous waste program operations and SPCC (spill prevention control and containment) program.

Requirements

• Location: 100% onsite in Middletown, DE (no hybrid or remote opportunity).
• 5+ years relevant technical experience and at least 2 years managing programs.
• Subject matter expert in regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, NJDEP, CDC, NRC (and similar).
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; strong oral and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; travel required 10% domestic.
