Principal Engineer, DevEx (AI): Leading the modernization of internal CI/CD platforms by migrating 30,000+ pipelines to GitHub Actions with an accent on agentic AI automation and scalable governance. Location: Must be based in the United States. Offers flexible hybrid work options with occasional in-person events.
Compensation: $143,625 – $299,375/yr

What you will do
- Design and operate agentic AI systems to automate the migration of pipelines to GitHub Actions.
- Establish enterprise-scale governance for GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows and templates.
- Standardize Artifactory repository structures and secure artifact consumption patterns.
- Define runner strategies and security boundaries for GitHub-hosted and self-hosted environments.
- Drive developer adoption through internal enablement, office hours, and data-driven improvements.
- Measure and optimize Developer Experience (DX) outcomes, including reliability and pipeline performance.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- Senior-level experience building production-quality platform tooling or internal developer platforms.
- Deep expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, reliability, and large-scale migration planning.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, including enterprise governance and reusable workflows.
- Practical experience building LLM/agentic AI systems with a focus on guardrails and evaluation.
- Strong proficiency with artifact repositories, specifically JFrog Artifactory.
