What you will do

• Define the long-term technical vision and architecture for hirify.global's developer tooling platform, including CI/CD and AI-powered tools.
• Architect and build an internal self-service developer platform that enables teams to scaffold, deploy, and operate services with minimal friction.
• Establish architectural standards, SDLC tenets, and GitOps deployment patterns across the organization.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI/LLM technologies and agent frameworks to modernize the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor senior and staff engineers and lead cross-functional technical design reviews.
• Drive the strategy for productizing successful internal tools into customer-facing offerings.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in Staff or Principal roles.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD systems, build infrastructure, and cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Go (preferred), Rust, Java, or Python.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML technologies and hands-on experience with LLM APIs or AI agent development.
• Proven track record of architecting developer-facing platforms or productivity systems at scale.
• Must be based in the United States

Nice to have

• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar AI agent integration standards.
• Background in SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering domains.
• Contributions to open-source developer tooling or observability projects.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks such as Terraform or Pulumi.
