What you will do

• Complete an intensive week of hands-on training to specialize in Microsoft Fabric.
• Deliver client projects using Fabric with proper engineering practices (reproducible deployments, testable code, scalable architectures).
• Collaborate in mixed teams with hirify.global and client engineers, contributing directly to data product foundations.
• Explain design choices, align stakeholders, and help client teams make confident decisions about their data platform.
• Work on projects of varying lengths (from a few weeks to about a year).

Requirements

• Live in the Netherlands (no relocation at the moment).
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in data engineering, BI engineering, analytics engineering, Azure engineering, DevOps, or a related technical field.
• Strong engineering foundation, including version control, testing, CI/CD, and code review.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and/or tools such as Spark, Terraform, dbt, or Airflow.
• Ability to work with different clients and communicate technical decisions effectively.
• Not an entry-level/junior role (requires at least 3 years of experience).

Nice to have

• Unique achievements such as contributing to open-source projects or building exceptional solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (if already experienced, consider the regular Fabric Data Engineer role).
