What you will do

• Design and build ETL pipelines using Microsoft Fabric tools like Dataflow Gen2 and Notebooks.
• Write optimized SQL queries for data ingestion and transformation.
• Implement data quality checks and validation logic at every stage of the pipeline.
• Develop dimensional models and aggregation logic to support analytics requirements.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and performance issues in collaboration with IT and Engineering.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data lineage, dictionaries, and transformation specifications.

Requirements

• Advanced SQL skills including query optimization, window functions, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric or equivalent ETL tools like Python, dbt, or Informatica.
• Strong understanding of relational database design and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Power Query, Python scripting, and Git version control.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into efficient data solutions.
