What you will do

• Develop and deliver robust, secure, high-quality solutions for an Enterprise Data Lake in a cloud-based environment.
• Build and maintain scalable data platforms using Azure and the engineering team.
• Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery cycles.
• Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and domain-driven design (DDD) to software development.
• Ensure code quality through the implementation of automated testing frameworks and the testing pyramid.
• Partner with Product Owners and Architects to align technical strategy with business objectives.

Requirements

• Strong experience in object-oriented programming, analysis, and design, preferably with Python.
• Proven expertise with cloud services, specifically Azure SDK and Databricks.
• Strong understanding of the incremental software development cycle, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically using Terraform.
• Familiarity with writing layer tests using frameworks like Pytest.
• Must be based in or able to work in Hoofddorp, Netherlands.
