What you will do

• Design and build high-quality, large-scale mapping datasets and data pipelines for ML model training and evaluation.
• Develop tools for model performance benchmarking and introspection.
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers to refine data curation and training strategies.
• Work cross-functionally with perception, planning, prediction, and simulation teams.
• Identify, clean, and process complex datasets containing high levels of noise or ambiguity.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong statistical foundations including hypothesis testing, experimental design, and time-series analysis.
• Experience with large-scale, multi-modal datasets and benchmarking.

Nice to have

• Experience in computer vision and machine learning algorithms.
• Knowledge of geospatial data and coordinate systems.
• Ability to write complex, optimized SQL queries for massive distributed databases.
• Experience with Databricks.
