Location: Hybrid (Expected ~2 days per week in-office) in the Bay Area (San Francisco / Peninsula) or New York City.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem definition through deployment and measurement.
• Design, build, validate, and maintain statistical and machine learning models to drive business KPIs.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business objectives into analytical approaches and success metrics.
• Execute experimentation, causal analysis, and hypothesis testing to guide strategic decisions.
• Communicate complex technical findings to diverse audiences through clear storytelling.
• Mentor junior data scientists and collaborate with engineering to productionize models.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics.
• Deep expertise in statistical modeling, experimentation, and machine learning.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to the Bay Area (San Francisco) or New York City.
• Proven track record of influencing business decisions with data-driven outcomes.

Nice to have

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field.
• Experience deploying ML models to production.
• Expertise in cloud-based analytics and ML platforms.
• Experience mentoring data scientists or leading cross-functional initiatives.
