TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Spain, Poland, or the Netherlands (with hybrid options in various European offices).

What you will do

  • Take ownership of the CDD methodology framework for onboarding and regular customer reviews.
  • Collaborate with Machine Learning engineers to improve the accuracy of Customer Risk Assessment models.
  • Research and implement new vendors and AI-driven methods for identity verification and AML compliance.
  • Draft requirements and review product specifications for CDD-related features in partnership with Product Managers.
  • Provide guidance and training to the 1st Line of Defence team on risk elements like adverse media and PEP assessment.
  • Manage one direct report with potential for team expansion.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in a regulated financial institution, preferably in fintech.
  • Solid 2nd Line of Defence background with hands-on expertise in CDD processes.
  • Proven track record as a project manager driving initiatives end-to-end.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor performance metrics.
  • Business proficiency in English is required.
  • Must be based in Spain, Poland, or the Netherlands.

Nice to have

  • Previous leadership or people management experience.
  • Fluency in additional European languages.
