TL;DR

Head of Learning & Development (People/L&D): Defining and leading the organizational learning strategy to align capability-building with business priorities with an accent on leadership development and AI adoption. Focus on designing scalable learning frameworks, evolving the learning ecosystem, and strengthening manager effectiveness.

Location: Hybrid (London) — minimum 60% office attendance required over a 12-week period

Salary: £100k – £110k

What you will do

  • Define and lead the L&D strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities and future workforce needs.
  • Partner with People Partners and business leaders to identify capability gaps and design targeted learning solutions.
  • Shape learning strategies to support AI adoption and evolving ways of working.
  • Design and embed interventions to strengthen leadership capability and manager effectiveness.
  • Own and evolve the learning ecosystem, including platforms, tools, and core learning journeys.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing L&D team.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in L&D, learning strategy, and organizational capability building.
  • Proven experience at Senior Manager, Principal, or Head of L&D leadership level.
  • Track record of designing scalable learning frameworks that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Expertise in leadership and manager development to improve organizational culture.
  • Proficiency in modern learning methodologies and learning technologies.
  • Must be based in or be able to commute to the London office for hybrid work.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting organizational transformation or digital adoption.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled ways of working.
