What you will do
- Lead development across Marketing Cloud using SSJS, AMPscript, and SQL.
- Design and own the data model, governance, and integration strategy for the marketing platform.
- Build scalable automations and reusable development patterns to support enterprise architecture.
- Maintain platform health, reliability, and performance while managing technical debt.
- Partner with Architecture, Data, and Marketing Operations teams to architect scalable solutions.
- Implement secure development practices and introduce CI/CD approaches for platform releases.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK
- Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
- Strong proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, and Automation Studio.
- Proven experience designing scalable data models and complex integrations.
- Strong understanding of APIs, data flows, and version control processes.
- Ability to operate at a senior technical level and influence stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Marketing Cloud certifications.
- Experience with Databricks or modern data platforms.
- Exposure to integration tools like MuleSoft or Workato.
- Experience in SaaS or PE-backed environments.
