Senior Salesforce Developer / Architect (Salesforce)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a Federal Government background investigation.

What you will do

• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery environments and tools.
• Design and develop Salesforce business application functionality using declarative and custom solutions.
• Perform fit-gap analysis by mapping business requirements to Salesforce best practices and platform capabilities.
• Develop API integrations between Salesforce organizations and external business systems using web services, JSON, and XML.
• Provide operational support, enhancements, bug fixes, end-user troubleshooting, and technical assistance.
• Assess project risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and collaborate with development teams, peers, and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, finance, business management, or a related STEM field.
• At least 5 years of consulting experience as a Salesforce developer in an enterprise-level Salesforce program.
• Experience working with Agile methodology and in an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of Apex classes and triggers, Lightning Components/LWC, Aura, and Visualforce.
• Experience with custom objects, Salesforce Flows, approval processes, email alerts, communication templates, SFDX, Salesforce CLI, and Visual Studio Code.
• Salesforce Certified System Administrator, Advanced System Administrator, and Platform Developer I and/or II certifications; strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Git or Bitbucket.
• Experience using JIRA or Agile Accelerator.
• U.S. Federal Government experience.
