What you will do

• Build practical AI tools, prototypes, and applications to improve workflows and productivity.
• Design agentic workflows that automate complex tasks and integrate with existing APIs.
• Create reusable patterns, templates, and best practices for AI adoption across the organization.
• Partner with various teams to turn ideas into real-world solutions and support hands-on implementation.
• Identify and mitigate AI risks to ensure safe and responsible use.
• Contribute to AI standards, governance, and mentor other engineers to raise the technical bar.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background with hands-on experience building and deploying AI, ML, or LLM-based systems.
• Practical understanding of modern AI tooling including LLM APIs, vector stores, RAG, evals, and agent frameworks.
• Experience designing platform-level capabilities such as APIs, SDKs, or shared services.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and version control (Git).
• Must be based in or able to work from the Sofia office as part of a hybrid working arrangement.
• Pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset suitable for a large, regulated, multi-product engineering environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Google Cloud AI services (Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, ADK).
• Experience with AI evaluation, AI security, or AI governance.
• Agentic development experience (MCP, multi-agent systems).
• Prior experience in iGaming, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Coding experience, particularly in Python.
