What you will do

• Support the Corporate Actions team in EMEA markets to ensure timely and accurate processing of events.
• Investigate and resolve dividend and coupon breaks, including payable and receivable claims.
• Liaise with brokers, custodians, and internal stakeholders to resolve open items.
• Perform reconciliations across systems and accounts to identify and flag discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to market deadlines, regulatory requirements, and internal control procedures.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong academic performance with a demonstrated interest in financial markets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a clear sense of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to have

• Internship or placement experience in financial services.
• Foundational understanding of financial products and trade lifecycle concepts.
• Familiarity with SWIFT messages, wire payments, and SSI setup.
