Junior Accountant Intern

TL;DR

Junior Accountant Intern (Finance): Supporting core accounting functions including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries with an accent on accuracy and process efficiency. Focus on assisting the UK finance team with monthly reporting and data management within the Workday and Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments.

Location: Must be based in London, UK (Hybrid: 2 days home office per week).

What you will do

• Process supplier invoices and manage vendor payments in Workday.
• Review purchase orders and perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with general accounting entries such as prepayments and accruals.
• Support the generation of revenue entries from Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Review employee travel expense reports.
• Handle ad-hoc accounting tasks as required by the senior team.

Requirements

• Must be based in London or able to work from the London office.
• Near Graduate or recent Graduate in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Fluent English speaker.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
