What you will do

• Process end-to-end settlement lifecycle for securities transactions across EMEA markets.
• Monitor daily settlement queues and resolve unmatched trades, failed settlements, and cash/stock exceptions.
• Investigate and resolve routine settlement breaks and discrepancies.
• Liaise with brokers, custodians, and internal teams to manage settlement activity.
• Perform daily reconciliations across systems and cash/position accounts.
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying manual touchpoints and operational inefficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in capital markets operations, preferably in settlements or trade support.
• Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle and settlement processes across multiple asset classes.
• Familiarity with EMEA market practices and settlement cycles (e.g., T+2).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with industry platforms such as Euroclear, Clearstream, or CREST.
